Lenny Wilkens

Lenny Wilkens was the head coach of the Cleveland Cavaliers from 1986 to 1993. During his tenure, the Cavaliers made the playoffs three times and won the Central Division title in 1992.

Mike Brown

Two-time head coach Mike Brown coached the Cavaliers from 2005 to 2010 and again from 2013 to 2014. Under Brown's leadership, the Cavaliers reached the NBA Finals in 2007 and won the Eastern Conference championship in 2009.

David Blatt

David Michael Blatt (Hebrew: דוד בלאט‎; born May 22, 1959) is an Israeli-American professional basketball executive. He is also a former coach. In 2014, Blatt became the head coach of the Cleveland Cavaliers, leading them to the NBA Finals in his first season. He was fired in 2016 after a 30-11 start to the 2016-17 season.

JB Bickerstaff

Tom Withers The Associated Press CLEVELAND (AP) — Cavaliers coach J.B. Bickerstaff has agreed to a multiyear contract extension through the 2026-27 season, the team announced Thursday.

Bickerstaff, who took over as interim coach in February 2020, has led the Cavaliers to a 97-115 record in three seasons, including a 44-38 mark this past season when they qualified for the playoffs as the No. 8 seed in the Eastern Conference.

The Cavaliers lost in the play-in tournament to the Brooklyn Nets.

Under Bickerstaff, the Cavaliers have shown significant improvement, particularly on the defensive end. The team ranked 28th in defensive rating in 2019-20, but improved to 13th in 2020-21 and ninth in 2021-22.

"J.B. has done an excellent job leading our team over the past three seasons," Cavaliers general manager Koby Altman said in a statement. "He has helped our young players develop, and he has instilled a winning culture within our organization. We are excited to extend his contract and continue building on the success we have achieved under his leadership."
