Australian Stars Struck Down By Illness Ahead Of England Clash

Australian stars struck down by illness ahead of England clash

Six Wallabies players will miss Saturday's clash with England at Twickenham after being struck down by illness.

The Wallabies have been hit by a virus that has swept through the squad in the lead-up to the match, forcing coach Dave Rennie to make several changes to his team.

Among the players who will miss the match are captain Michael Hooper, vice-captain James Slipper, and star playmaker Quade Cooper.

Rennie said the players had been suffering from a range of symptoms, including fever, chills, and sore throats.

"It's a bit of a setback, but we're confident that the players who come in will do a good job," Rennie said.

The Wallabies will be looking to bounce back from their defeat to Scotland in their last match, while England will be looking to continue their impressive form under new coach Eddie Jones.

The match will be a crucial test for both teams, as they prepare for the upcoming Rugby World Cup in France.
